Barn Ground Breaking Ceremony

On Friday December 4th, we gathered at the site of the barn right across the street from STMA High School for a ground-breaking ceremony. The excitement and energy on this sunny and brisk December afternoon was fantastic. STMA Breakfast Club is so grateful for all the support of the community, the City of St. Michael, and so many businesses that are helping us do something incredible for the students in our community.

"This is a once in a generation opportunity," said Jake. "We really believe that when like-minded people come together around a cause that we all believe it, are willing to work hard and be generous, and nobody cares who gets the credit; then some incredible things can happen.”

We are seeing this play out in real time with this project. With 4.08 acres of land being donated by Montgomery Farms, this project started to come into shape last May. Fehn Companies has kicked off the project through their generosity to get the site ready with the road and parking lot as well as the drainage ponds and the barn pad ready for footings and walls (to be completed in December of 2020). There are so many people and companies donating their time and resources to help make this unique project a reality. We are very, very grateful.

Sponsored by Larson Building (our General Contractor for the project, donating 100% of their GC work), the ground-breaking ceremony included some comments and a prayer from Jake as well as photo opps with some of the business owners,

We are so excited to kick this project off and see the barn get built. God is doing something in our town and we all get to be a part of it.
